Santa We're Ready...

""If I could work my will," said Scrooge indignantly, "Every idiot who goes about with 'Merry Christmas' on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. He should!"
―from "A Christmas Carol" (1843)
.

I

I have been making quite merry lately. This is a hotel restaurant that a friend and I shared a bottle of wine and some apps.

And then it got cold not chilly, but -10 and you have to go to work.

Then you hear snow then rain and then the cold again.
So I stayed home all weekend! yea!!

I finished my small santa that is for a gift.

I wrapped presents, and decorated more.

I watched every Christmas movie I could.
and I napped oh sweet nap how I love you.

I know I show you this Mrs clause every year but it is so special
to me. I bought the Santa at a shop in Rhode Island when my daughter was going to school there. She contacted the maker of the
Santa to see if she would make a Mrs Santa. Such a thoughtful gift for a college student to do.
****
I hope you are tucked in safe and warm with those you love.
Merry Christmas!

Your weather sounds like ours. We were in Chicago and it was really cold while here in Ohio it went from cold, to mild with rain to ice storms and back to snow...crazy! You look all ready for the big day! I'm going to start wrapping and cooking and somehow fit work in the middle! Take care!

Yes, too cold to even go outside, lol.
Love the santa pieces, I have some ideas for some in felting, so we shall see how mine turn out.
I like the old world santas and have a painting book with them, so hoping I can use that for the ideas.

Cathy, it looks like you're all ready for Christmas. It's so thoughtful of your daughter to commission a Mrs Claus to go with Mr Clause. I can see why it's so special to you.

It's very cold here this morning at -25 or -27 but it's supposed to warm up again.
Wishing you a Merriest Christmas.
Warm hugs from cold New Brunswick.

So happy to hear you had a weekend at home doing what you love - and a nap is the icing on the cake.
Your daughter is so thoughtful - that's cuz she has such a thoughtful mom.
Merry, merry :)

We have a little break in the cold weather today so I'm going to try and finish all my little things. Then I'll be happy to sit and chill for a few days
