Leaf Peeping

We were in full leave peeping mode this week.
A friend and I hiked and then husband and I took off this morning.

We headed north as we wanted a cog railway ride but no luck
booked up until late day so we headed back to a tiny town had lunch and shopped a bit and then off to see our Sweet B.
The best part of the day seeing family.

Saturday morning I was having coffee early before my walk and I saw the leaves falling so lightly and sweet with the birds at the feeder.

I happened on this collection of Gurly candles for 2.50 at a thrift store. They are so sweet I will put them out for the holiday.

We are back into the warm weather this week high 70's so summer hasn't given up yet. I hope you are enjoying your fall.

I missed your previous post so Happy Belated Birthday! Your weather has been like ours. It was very cool last week but warmer temps came this weekend. The leaves here will be at peak next weekend and I hope to be out and enjoy them. Your area is beautiful and someday I hope to make a trip in that direction...probably not till I retire! Have a wonderful week and I love those cute Thanksgiving candles!

It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the foliage. We headed over to the Ct. river and there were some nice areas and others that were just starting, the valley and river take the longest, so more weekends to enjoy.

Your trees are breathtaking! Here in Salt Lake City there is a bit of color. Hope to see more when we get home.
Glad you got time with Miss B.

I was lucky enough to do some leaf peeping along the Hudson River in New York this past weekend. Here on Long Island we don't get much of a show.

I remember those candles from childhood!

Happy belated anniversary and birthday!
