Home From The Beach

We are blessed with wonderful friends who own a beach house
in Maine, You can't get any better than this...

The sunset from the back decks were lovely this is reflecting in the
river in the back.

We ate and drank very well.

We headed to Kennebunk for some shopping. I though this boat
full of flowers was so cute and they were all over town.

Well since we were in Kennebunk I had to hit camp wool
They have moved just up the street from where they were before and what a good move. Lots of light and space. Of course I bought a bit of wool who wouldn't?

We hit Bentley's for lunch it is a biker bar, but lunch time is very
mellow and the food is great. Husband had a great time.

I took an extra day off so I had the day to
weed the garden, clean out my spare bedroom and get caught up
on my laundry. Back to work tomorrow.
I hope your holiday was a good one.

Cathy,
That sounds like a perfect holiday weekend and a trip to the wool store is an added bonus.
Now back to reality ~ UGH!
Hugs :)

Looks like a beautiful place to relax for a few days and I do love that boat.
I have been working on my garden and thinking about objects that I can use that are unique and fun in a flower garden.

What a nice place to visit. My state to visit someday is Maine. That top picture of the sailboat and the ocean, when I first saw it on your blog, I thought what a great rug pattern because I thought that was what you hooked on your vacation.
I would love to be able to walk into a wool store. I hope you have a nice short week this week. Lovely Post.

I have always wanted to visit Maine and this post makes me want to go even more! I know we'll make a trip in the next few years and I hope to see all that I think Maine should be...like that fabulous lobster! Looks like you had a great holiday and don't you just love a day off to play catch up with all the chores that get put on the back burner? I'm solo this week with Jack at Boy Scout camp and it's the time I do many chores that I put off when we both are home and too busy to do them. Have a good rest of this week. It's a short one since we were off Monday and I took Tuesday too..I could go part time with no problem! Heck, I could retire with no problem but that has to wait a few more years..darn it! Take care!

Wow, Maine on a boat with sunsets, good friends, food, and drinks sounds heavenly!! I'm sure a wool store to you would be like a fabric store to me!! Can't get enough!
Glad I stopped by!!
