A Ruby

Summer is in full swing here in NH. Lots of porch sitting..

Concerts on the town common and as always thrifting.

I have taken the best part of 3 days to really clean out my spare room that I use for my wool. I had a car full to take to the thrift store, and really while I was there I had to look around. Lookie what I found! 3.50 for both no cracks perfect in everyway! so happy!

I have also acquired a new hook for my collection thanks to my sweet friend.

My bowl is getting full of great hooks.

I think I have lost my hooking mojo.
Nothing seems right to me, I pull out more than I put in.
So I have found the ruby beholder. It is a tool to help
with color planning. I am hoping it helps me because I need help!

It is mostly used by quilters but I was told a long time ago
it can be a help color planning a rug, we shall see.

Have a great week.

I also have the green one which can be used on certain colors to determine value, particularly when there is red in the weave.

Morning, I love porch sitting, spending my weekdays at the lake doing so.... Your bowl find is awesome, great find. ... I like you pullout more then I hook, I still have not got the hook of it, 😊 Blessings Francine.

I predict you'll be back in the mood to hook come Fall.
There's just something about Summer that gives us all
a short attention span. That's my story...

I haven't pulled a single loop in over a week. It must be summer. I have never seen one of those things before. I will be curious to see how it works since picking colors is just chore for me. Lovely bowls and I love you hooks!!! What a nice collection. I hope you have a lovely week.

What happy things.I crochet and knit but am fascinated by what you do.
Is it like old fashioned English rag rugs?
Will you help me make a start? Stop by or not. xx
