Picking Up The Hook

I got inspired by rug hooking magazine. I made the pattern square and I have already hooked the pumpkin! It feels good to have a hook in my hand again.

Since the news has just been depressing I have been
watching a movie we have had for awhile.

And reading...

And since the humidity finally broke I baked a chicken dinner tonight yummm.

That is a wonderful pattern and I do miss hooking, need to finish my big rug so I can use it.
It is so nice to have cooler air again and hoping this weather is what we will get in two weeks when we come up.
Have you hiked on the Lincoln trail to the franconia falls? Wondering how long a hike. It says 3 miles one way.

Yummy chicken! Fall is in the air and hooking pumpkins just proves it! The temps have only been in the 60's the last few days and I'm thinking of making some chili. Even some leaves are changing. I know Summer isn't done with us yet, but I'm thinking of Fall more and more each day. Enjoy your week!

What a lovely new pattern to hook. I think any day spent with Mr. Darcy is a good day.
I can't wait until our humidity breaks, maybe I will feel like cooking again. Have a wonderful day.

I'm sure it feels good to have hook in hand and you are off to a great start.
Yesterday I saw some trees with changing leaves. Ugh. I am so not ready.
Today we are getting a bit of much needed rain. Yippee!
Hugs :)
