Never Never Never Give Up.

Husband has a head cold. Now that man can go through all kinds of
medical issues but if he gets a cold he just can't handle it and becomes completely dependent on me. So it is lots of nice tea and good food.

I made some good for you muffins the recipe below.

and a big pot of beef stew. He is full and warm so I haven't heard from him in a bit. It must of worked;)

Yes we had another snow day at work this week, with lots of down time I took my needle punch with me. I have no idea what I am doing wrong but 4 stitches go in 2 come out, but I will never give up.
And yes there is more snow on the way for this weekend. :(

Last but not least I have been slowly working on my rug.
I have changed a couple of things to my taste.

Since Valentines is this weekend I will close with a love quote.

If you would be loved, love and be lovable.

I can handle colds are long as I can have my energy, lol. I just can't stand sitting still and feeling sick so as long as I have a hand project to work on, I can grin and bear it;)

What floss are you using, 6 or 3 strands? It looks too loose to me. I find that you want to keep close as you go up a row, then go over one for the next row. If I do it in 1 or 2 height, I got closer than if I am using the 3 and up heights. I am usually too tight and trying to space better but then I see gaps, can't win.

Those head colds are a real test of endurance. Hope your husband feels better soon. You're handling the situation with finesse. Those muffins and stew looks tasty.

I've never tried the punch needle but I watch a Tutorial on Punch Needle Embroidery online and the instructor said that you need to always punch either sideway or toward you, and turn your hoop instead of your needle, never punch away from you as your stitches will pull out.

Your rug is looking great. I love those colors.

Hugs,
