Keeping My Wits About Me

I love where I live ...

The beautiful seasons...

Today was in the high 70's and humid more like summer than
October.

No reason for a fire tonight we have some of the windows
open to hear the last of the peepers...

While I can't stick my head in the sand about what
is going on in this country... I can choose to turn it off

And just enjoy the sight and smell of fall.

and count my amazing blessings.

My little Miss B is sick with a earache so think good
thoughts they are so painful.

Poor little Miss B. earaches are so painful. My granddaughter Jordyn used to get many earaches when she was young and the doctor put tubes in her ear to prevent infections and she never got an earache after that. She's now a mother herself with my great grand son Cyprus.

Such beautiful fall pictures.

I'm praying that this crisis will soon be under control.
So much bad stuff going on. We need more prayers.

Hugs,
JB

What a sweet post. Even with all that is happening to/in this great Land of ours, we have much to be thankful for and there is nowhere else I'd rather be (except for south in the winter...lol!).
Poor Miss B. Both my boys battled ear infections for years and they are no fun. I hope she feels better soon.
Hugs :)

I can't keep up with all the stuff going on, so I don't think about it too much either--can't do a thing about it.
I hate when our little babes are sick!!

I do love this time of year and it just fills me with joy when we got out for rides and walks, good for the soul;) My son used to get them a lot, ear aches are not fun for them.

Everyone at the hospital today was talking about the nurse who actually flew to Cleveland and then visited parents in Akron...only 45min from here....after taking care of the Ebola pt in Dallas. Crazy! It does make you very afraid. But when you see all the beauty that's around us in this season it's better to focus on the positive and hope for the best. Enjoy your beautiful part of the world Cathy!

It seems all we can do is pray for our country.
Earaches are so painful and little ones just don't understand. I feel for her.
I love where I live too. Everything is so pretty this fall.
Enjoy while it lasts,
Balisha
