A Long Winded Post..

The warm weather has arrived although our nights are
still cool. I cleaned the porch and have it already for our
summer lounging.

Thursday a friend and I headed to a church sale I got these for
2.50 a bit wilder than I am use to but I am trying to break out of
my old boring self

I also got this mug and bowl both hand thrown.

The deal of the weekend this yellow ware bowl
for 3.00 oh how I love it.

At a local thrift I got a quart of paint for 1.00
and these two little things I love the mug some day
I will get to Prince Edward Island and see the Anne
Of Green Gables house. That was my daughter's all time
favorite book and movie.

About 3 weeks ago I tried on a pair of Capri's and
they were not going to button no matter what I did. Ugh
so I went low carb. I have lost some
weight and I can get into my pants again. This is a zucchini crust
that you can use for lots of things.

I used it to make a pizza, it was yummy and I would make
it again.

This post has been long winded so I will close with a little
bit of spring.

Your post is not long winded at all and I'm glad that you got all those neet finds at the church sale and that you even can button your pants again. It's been a long winter for every one. Even spring was long in coming too...

Your porch looks so inviting.

Love the idea of a zucchini crust..if you can, email me the recipe. I mentioned on Kim's blog that more than Spring had busted out all over at our house...I too found that my clothes were somehow too tight..so I'm going low carb too. Love the deals you found but I'm really drooling over the porch. I soooo want a screened porch! I guess I'll just have to live through you and pretend I'm sitting in those cute chairs! Have a great week!

Deserves a long winded response... Firstly, can I come hang out on your porch for the summer!!! Oh my goodness, absolutely love the cottage, coziness. Great thrifty finds...Hubby took me on a business trip to PEI in October a few years ago, unfortunately it was off season so we hope to make it back to visit The Green Gables. Beautiful area! Congrats on losing some inches!! Now you must share the recipe, I definitely want to try that; especially since I grow zucchini and we run out of things to do with it. Have a terrific week!!

I didn't think this was long winded!!! I love reading about your days--da dump finds and Miss B and everything you write about. My Grammie had a large screened-in porch. Loved playing out there, or swinging in the porch swing--also a perfect place to take a nap.

Well, I don't think it was long-winded at all! Love the looks of that pizza - zucchini crust and all! I think out-of-season clothes must shrink during their storage time.:-)
