Gifts

We are waiting patiently for Easter in this house. We are decorated, the eggs are sorted
and the basket is ready. We are hosting an egg hunt and dinner for family which is always
fun and good for some laughs.

We had very strange weather this week 70's on Monday then snow, ice, and rain
on Tues &Wed which resulted in this. It flooded the main road into the town I work in so around I went.
When I got to the parking area I found this. The little dot out there is an electrical panel that
the bans use through out the summer when there is concerts. I just hope it's shut off.

I am blessed with many things in this life and most of all I am blessed with amazing friendships.
My sweet sweet friend gave me as she calls it a "spring gift" tonight the bee skep isn't it wonderful?
I can't wait to get it in the garden. This friend and I have been through it all and I do mean all.
She took a few late night calls from me when David was so sick. I was so glad she was there.
I just hope I am as good of a friend to her.

Tomorrow night another couple of long time friends are treating us to a Sox's baseball game!
Not just any seats mind you, primo seats with parking and dinner.(In Boston parking is worth it's weight in gold) I am so looking forward to this night out.
For years these friends would let us share their vacation time. What wonderful memories we have made.

Wed night I met up with my women's group we had'n seen each other since before
Christmas. It is always a pot luck dinner and catching up with each other.
It is a very eclectic group of women but somehow it works and is completely wonderful.

I hope everyone has friendships in their lives it makes life so much richer.

So fun. We are missing the traditional Easter this year as most of my family is on vacation. I hope you enjoy the egg hunt and can find a dry place to hide them.

Sounds like a fun easter, Nick is still too young to do too much. I got him a spotted seuss dog and book and it all went to charity, so nice way to buy something fun for him and help others. Have fun at the game, looks like it is going to be a nice day and night.

When my daughter lived in Boston, she didn't have a car, so she rented her parking space--it IS worth it's weight in gold!!! A Sox game--what fun!!! My best friend and I were like that--I sure miss her!!!
