Estate Sale,Ta Da Dump, and Horses..

So up and out early to an estate sale with a friend. Best find of the day
a deviled egg holder, yes! nice glass one!

I also got this picture and a book on the history of NH.

I really love the painting and put it in the book case in the living room.

Later in the day my friend was going by the estate sale again and stopped.
They had some assorted wood that they wanted to give away for free.
So back David and I went he got a pick up truck load and was so happy
I will show some of the things he builds with it when he gets going.
I picked up a couple of oil cans I have seen small hooked pieces displayed on them
so lets see if I really do it :)

On the way home I hit the dump. I got the books and the bridge
cards the 2 kids rolling pins perfect for play dough.
The cribbage board I got at a thrift I want to learn how to play so wish me luck.

And guess who got to horse back ride! Her Daddy's aunt has a horse
farm and gives lessons. So B and her cousins got to go for a ride.
I think her parents are in for it, there is a big smile on her face.

And as every good horse woman knows you have to keep your
horse shiny and happy :)
****
We are in for a week of rain and cooler temps, come on spring where are you?

The painting is perfect in you bookcase.
I, too, have been buying oil cans and have done nothing with them...lol!
Miss B looks so darn cute grooming that horse.
It's sunny buy cold in Ohio. I am still trying to thaw out after working the pug rescue booth outdoors for a couple hours.
Hugs :)

Great finds and the egg holder will be nice for the holidays. Yes, let a little girl ride and you will never hear the end of it, lol.

Nice deviled egg plate. Oh miss B looks so cool brushing the horse and riding it of course. How fast they grow.

Miss B looks great up on that horse. I think you're right, she may want to visit that barn everyday.
I used to play crib all the time with my grandfather and then my Mom. She used to say Grandpa let me win but I think I was just really good. Lol

OMG, she must be in heaven. As a teen I owned a horse and to this day still love the smell of horseflesh under the mane. Oh, also the lather smell of warmth from riding. Ahhhh, brings back fond memories.

well, if I had only known you wanted a Deviled Egg plate--I woulda sent you the one I have buried in the bottom cupboard! I know use a tupperware one, with a lid and handle. The last time I took the glass egg dish to a family gathering, two of the eggs slid off as I was trying to open the car door!

Miss B looks adorable on that pony!

I own that exact deviled egg plate, I've owned it for about 25 years! And I love it!
