Groundhog Day....

Groundhogs need shovels to exit hovels. Sunny and cold but looking fine for Valentines. Mild, then
piled! Snowplows rumble, temperatures tumble. Awake to flakes. Bitter breezes summon sneezes.
(The Old Farmer's Almanac prediction for Feburary)

Today was a great day for making snow spiders!
(Her creation I loved it)

And family sledding!

A great day for eating whoopie Pies....

And gifts. A picture my daughter took of us on the Santa train. She had
it put on canvas for us. I love B's expression:)
***
I went to my rug guilds meeting on Saturday. I signed up for a class on faces next month!
what have I done! it will be in a 3 cut yikes! This guild has a lot of fine shading hookers.
I am one of the few that hooks wide cut, so I will stretch just how far we shall see.
Have a great week everyone (I will be watching Downton Abby tonight in spite of the super bowl.)

That is a sweet photo. And we get to see you! Love the snow spider. Definitely not as creepy as regular spiders. No football here either. Chocolate and Downton is on the agenda at this house

What great photos of your family and fun with a little one to enjoy it with. I started out with smaller cuts, think I did better with small than I do with large cuts. I went and sold my bliss, wish I hadn't, it had all the small blades and I want to make some smaller pieces and have some detail, oh well. Too expensive to buy more blades for the townsend.

It looks like some good winter time fun there! I have thought that the groundhog would not be too smart to try to come from his home out to survey the weather with such conditions that presently exist! Enjoy your class!
