Rainbow Falls

David was feeling up to a walk in the woods.

The sun was shining but there was a chill in the air.

It was about 1/2 mile in not to far for a first hike.

and the pay off was beautiful.

We sat by the falls and counted our blessings
which we forget to do sometimes. We find we have many blessings to count.

That looks like a beautiful place to walk, is it nearby?
I wish I had been able to get up earlier for some light hiking.

What a beautiful day for you both. We all should take those special moments to think about all we have and be thankful. I'm glad he's on the mend and hopefully the next walk will be longer and just as beautiful!

Any day we wake up and are still here, is a blessed day. 1/2 mile? I still couldn't walk that far and then back again.
