Me And My Shadow.....

We still have snow as you can see, we lost a lot the week before.
It was so great to have Miss B two weekends in a row.

The birthday cake that tasted awful. :( this was a cake recipe from
Bonn appetite the frosting was sickly sweet and the cake was dry.
But the thought was there.

The birthday boy! and my husband's donor!
Happy Birthday and many many more!

I also got a package in the mail and what amazing package it was!
There was this pattern and a pretty large pattern for my grand baby. That I
will show as I hook it.
To the amazing person who sent it and you know who you are you
over whelm me with your kindness.

This was in the package too I have it on my frig, the cold weather has come back we will be in the 30's
for the next few days :( I swear this will be the latest spring ever.
***
I hope your Easter was a good one and that the bunny found you.
I am going to clean house and get rid of all the left over candy I just
can't control myself.

We got home today and it was snowing lightly...I was crying heavily! The weather in Oregon was warm and sunny and they have Spring everywhere. I wish they would share it! I love the look of the cake...very cute! Too bad it left a bad taste in the mouth!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your husband and how nice to have his donor there. The cake looks great and it can always be eaten with a good cup of tea to take away the dryness and sweetness away.
It's the thought that counts.

I love miss B 's long shadow, so cute...

That rascal groundhog is in trouble I tell ya, lol...

Take care, Hugs,
JB

The cake is really pretty, but that is not always proof that it will taste good.

Miss B must be a lot of fun! Lucky you to have her two week-ends!

Our spring is arriving later than usual, but we have no snow to worry about.

Hope this beginning to a new month is a good one!

Even if the cake was awful is sure was darned cute!
Oh, I love that rug pattern! I can't wait to watch what you do with it. Lucky you!
Cold here in Ohio, too. The wind off Lake Erie (I live 2 blocks away) is bitter.
Hugs :)

Crazy spring.

I love the ground hog photo!

The cake is adorable--I would have just eaten the Peeps, so I wouldn't have known the cake was dry, LOL. Sunny here for days and days, but oh, so cold. Soon--it has to be soon. By the way--you can never trust a wood chuck!!!

Sorry the cute cake was not very tasty. I seem to be making a lot of things here lately that I don't seem to like after the trouble of making them.
So glad you got to see your sweetie pie two weekends in a row. I sure missed mine Easter. Disappointed that they went with friends to the beach but I am glad they were able to get away for the weekend.
Hope your cold weather goes away and you can enjoy some warm weather.
We had a week of spring and now another rainstorm blew in with cooler weather but nothing like your having.
Can't wait to see your new project. Glad you received such a nice surprise.
Love
Maggie

What the cake lacked in flavor it made up for in "cuteness". Lots to celebrate at your house!! Spring is very late here too. Soon.Very.Soon.
