Choices

These past few days have been about choices. Friday we had an
ice storm with a sleet chaser. So I decided to stay home and
not spend the day with Miss B, I was not happy:(

So I made the choice to fill the bird feeder 3 times during the bad
weather. The little birds were very thankful for my choice.

We had Miss B over night Saturday night, she chose
to sit in her rocker and watch TV with Pepe. Good
choice Miss B.

After the horrid news from Boston I made the choice to shut the
TV off and read a book. I made a choice to keep all the people that
were in Boston that day in my prayers.
I hope you will make the choice to pray for Boston. The city that healed
my husband and gave him his life back. The nurses and Dr's and all the people that
I struck up conversations with in waiting rooms. I wonder if any of them where there?
I can not understand how someone can make a choice to kill or hurt people
they have never seen or talked to.
****
What choices have you made today?

I don't think we will ever understand what would drive a person to commit such an unspeakable act.

I just don't understand how one person can make the choice to hurt another. May God bless the people of Boston!

Ice and sleet are no fun! It sounds like you made the best of the situation, and Miss B looks very content watching TV.:-)

My thoughts and prayers continue to be offered for those who have been affected by the events on Monday afternoon in Boston.

Choices? I ordered a salad while out to lunch with a group of friends from bridge club. It was a HUGE salad, and I brought home over half of it!

Sending hugs,
Nellie

I'm glad you had the opportunity to see Miss B after all and enjoy the fun a child. The Boston tragedy was horrific to watch and your choice to read was a good one. I have to say that only "cowards" sneak around and do what they can to hurt others for whatever "cause" they think they are fighting. Innocent victims and peace of mind stolen...but we need to continue to pray and not let evil win over good. There were many good people in Boston who jumped in to help and to serve. I commend all those heroes and pray for all the innocent ones.

Yes, sadly there are sick demented people in the world.

Just looked at the second picture again with the birds. What is that critter in the background?

It is so difficult to understand some of these evil and tragic events. I also had to limit my exposure to the news coverage.

Oh so terrible about Boston. It sounds like they have great hospitals from the news! My choice today is to send prayers to Boston and work in my garden, Hugs Cheri

I have chosen to pray for all the people affected by the tragedy, and for peace.

I've chosen to check on your blog to see a cute little girl sitting in her little rocking chair watching TV with her grandfather, so innocent.... so cute...

I've have chosen to eat a light supper.

I have chosen to wash another large window in the upstairs bedroom and also washed the blinds rather than put it off.

I'm choosing to not complain about the weather because Mother Nature is doing her best but she gets upset with all the tragedies that are happening.

I'm choosing to live in hope and love.

I'm choosing to send you a hug.

It is tragic that some people make horrific choices that so deeply harm others. I made a choice to feel deeply for Boston and send prayers for healing to all of us that are so affected . I made a choice to believe in hope and to believe that kindness will eventually prevail over bad choices of humans. I also made a choice to move forward and have some continuum and not let people like that take completely over the normalacy of life . I made a choice to seek the beauty of a simple Spring day.

I haveto limit my news coverage, too. I think your idea of looking at the circumstances in terms of making choices, because it really is true. Sometimes the choices aren't entirely clear, nor easy to make, but they are there just the same. Thanks for your thoughts. And now we must offer our prayers for the victims and supervisors of the West Texas exposion.

Like you, I cannot understand such hatred. How does one every become that way? I have chosen not to watch much of it on TV either. The people who do these things thrive on attention. I refuse to be a part of that.

What a good choice, reading a book and praying. I thought of you when I heard that, remember reading about you being there when your husband was sick.
