More Rugs And This Makes Me Laugh

More rugs from my weekend, this is from the fair. I loved this rug of course
the subject but the colors were great in person and the braiding around it was
just great. this was a pretty large rug.

This was a fun wall hanging. It looks like all of these animals are on the driveway to the house.

This rug has great color I like the two little( I think) mice on the wall.
The way this rug was lighted at the show I couldn't tell what this rug was
I put the camera up and it is a wonderful sheep.

I wish I had turned this around but it is a stone wall with pumpkins.
A great job on the stone wall but what I wanted to show how
this person finished the edges, it is an extension of the rug.

Now for what makes me laugh. I can't help it I know it is stupid but it cracks me up.
It is the queen, her purse is a solar panel and she waves.
a lot of entertainment for 1.00

I am putting a few things together for a give away by the end of the week. So stay
tuned.
Have a great week.

HAHAHAAHA! You're right, it's hilarious! Wait, is that in the giveaway? Love the fair pics that I missed on the previous post. Cool rugs, such wonderful talent. I don't possess talent like that, but I do enjoy other peoples efforts. Looks like it was a great weekend. Congrats to the lovely Bride and handsome Groom!

Not a dud in the bunch! I love them all, especially the braided rug edging. (The Queen really cracks me up - I think I need one too!)
When I graduated high school, I worked for the summer in a shop with fabrics and yarns, (Heaven!) a family business. The original owner had built a living for the family by reselling wool remnants for rug hooking and rug braiding. They even made and sold a gadget which took a strip of wool in one end, and it came out double folded on the other end. They called it a "Braid-Aid" and that was the name of the shop. Customers used to come in with partly finished rugs, to find new colors to add. We were forever toting bits of wool out into the sunlight and matching and contrasting them. Such fun!

I wanted to buy the Queen for my husband. It's 20 bucks in the catalog, so you got it for a song!

Hope your well honey. I bet the leaves there are gorgeous.
It is still in the 90's here this week. I guess we will just skip fall and go straight to winter. lol
Looking forward to your giveaway.
I need to have one soon myself.

Fab pics of the fair rugs - beautiful!
And the qeen had me nearly spewing coffee on my laptop screen, laughing so hard. I had some solar powered dancing flowers (also $1 each). I can't help but imagine your waving solar queen amid my solar dancing flowers, lol (it's the curious things of life that amuse me, roflmao)

Thanks for a great post!
