A Visit To The Dump (again)

I helped David go to the dump:) I got a few things.
This sweet blackberry plate is a keeper.

Some candles that smell great. I have the latte one burning right now hmmm.

We dug this out of the metal pile I thought it was nice.
I love the color.

Miss Baby came for a visit she is growing by leaps and bounds.
It raised our spirits to see her, she is such a love.

And Miss Sadie put on her pearls for the occasion.
It was a rainy cold weekend we stayed in, watched movies, and caught up on some
house work.
Have a great week!

I want to visit your dump. My papa and I used to go to the dump and scavenge. Of course years ago that was allowed that. Last time I took something to our dump, I was looking in the ginourmous container at all the wasted repurposeful stuff. I asked the guy about getting something out and was informed it was the property of the city and ILLEGAL to take it. They would rather bury or burn it than to give it a new home. How sad!

My Puddin cat looks like Sadie's twin. :)

Miss Baby is growing fast! Our weather started out rainy...especially on Friday at Relay for life...but by Sat. we had beautiful sunny, cool, dry and perfect as far as I'm concerned. But frankly, a nice quiet movie day sounds heavenly! Have a good week!

How cute is Sadie with her pearls, were they a dump find? the pearls that is, not Miss Sadie! LOL. My Little Miss Baby has grown, she is just ADORABLE. I love the Salmon Falls Pottery Lamp, that is quite a find. I purchased a similar lamp from Goodwill it is an L L Bean which I paid $2.50 for. I think that beautiful plate almost tops the lamp, who puts these items in the dump, they are wonderful. Hope David is on the mend and feeling m like his old self soon. Keep the faith. I saw a bit of sunshine today, hope you did too! Sending well wishes, Julie.

What a sweet pic of Miss Baby. Love that lid from the metal pile. That color is very popular.
They are predicting rain for us the next few days but I am not sure we will get it.
Not sure if you have entered my giveaway but if not I hope you can.
Love

On The Sunny Side Of The Street
(Fields/McHugh)

Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worries on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
On the sunny side of the street

Don't you hear that pitter-pat
You know that happy tune is your step
Life could be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street

I used to walk in the shade with my blues on parade
Now you know I'm not afraid... I guess this rover done crossed over

If I never have a cent
I'd be rich as Rockefeller
Gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street

Miss Baby and Kitty are both so sweet! Now, did you find these treasures at a real dump? We visited a shop in AZ called the Town Dump. Either way, you did good!
