How Can I Top That?

Since I will never be able to top my dump find in the last post.
I am taking a walk in my gardens.
Heavy rains are predicted for the weekend, it will ruin my flowers.

It has been quite a week Husband was admitted into the hospital for a few days for tests
The tests came back basically good. He is on some more meds and we go back to the
Dr on wed.

We are now home and comfy.

I think since it is going to rain all weekend I am going to clean the house.

Tuck in and hook, something I haven't done for awhile.
and watch old movies. Ahh sounds like bliss right?

This is a sneak peek of the rug I am working on.
(David's cat)
David loves to watch the robins all over the garden picking up bugs.
Have a great weekend.

There will be a rain dance Friday night, weather permitting.

Your flowers are so pretty! I'm getting some perennials in and it feels more hopeful to some flowery loveliness in the future. I love that little robin. Are you using the wide cut? I need to start my big chicken rug. Just waiting for school to end to organize the thing. I hope that David feels better. I'm glad he's home and you guys can snuggle down for the rainy weekend.
Hugs,
Courtney

I thought rain was good for flowers? We had a fairly dry May and then the heavens opened the last day of the month! It's been cool here too. It's almost like every other month..hot and dry..cool and wet..keeping us on our toes! Glad David is home and I hope your weekend is as quiet and comfy as you describe!

Grief woman, I'd rather have your luck than a license to steal. If you are that lucky on random visits what would you find if you pitched a tent over night was there at first light?

Lucky you th lamp is gorgeous!

So glad to hear that David is home from his tests and it looks good.

I know what you mean about the rain messing the flowers. My Azellias were so beautiful and covered in blooms but I didn't get much time to enjoy it outdoors and now they are looking on their way out as other beauties are coming out but there is more rain on the way again, sigh...

Hooking and staying indoors sounds like a great plan.
Hugs. JB.

Happy to hear that David's tests came back good! The rain has been crazy! Thankfully we didn't get the downpours like other parts of New England!!!
