A Mental Health Day

Saturday bright and early I went yard saling with 2 friends.
I found great books.

 clothes for Miss Baby

And some plants at the church sale.
It was nice to be out and about with friends.

When I got home I felt tired and just out of sorts.
So I decided to have myself a mental health day.
I had a nap on the porch,I read some of the new magazines that came in the mail.

I painted my toes and just sat. I discovered our phones were out along with the internet.
It was a very quiet night. I am feeling much better today and worked in the garden all day.

David is feeling better, still he tires easily. He is painting our chairs
using what ever paint he has. I love all of the colors.

Another weekend has come and gone. Next weekend will be a long weekend for me.

I heart that blue chair. Oh I love it when chairs like that are painted bright colors.
You deserved a mental health day and glad you laid back and took one.
Honey I wouldn't show my ugly toes on here even if I was paid top dollar. But yours are nice nothing like mine.
Glad hubby is feeling somewhat better. It just takes a long while to be 100 percent. He will though hang in there.
Have a wonderful week

Congrats on 200+ followers! Remember when you used to whine about how few you had? LOL!
What a sweet little dress for Miss Baby!
Did you hook the rug partially seen over the couch? I want to see more...pretty please?
Glad today was a better day and David is feeling better, too.
Happy Monday! Yeah for long weekends.
Pug hugs :)

Good book finds! The gooseberry patch books are made here in Ohio (read the back cover). I have a couple that are signed by the authors. I enjoy them! You had the right idea...sometimes we just need to relax. I love that color of the chair. It will look so pretty outside. I hope David is feeling better each day. Have a good week!

I love your mental health day. Having no phone and internet sounds great to me. It's hard for us even if the phone line is down, the cell phones are always ringing.

Time for getting my toe nails done to, your feet are beautiful as compare to mine. I inherited my grandmother's bunions.

I love what David did with the lawn chair, all nice and fresh.

Great finds at the sales.

Have a great week and I'll keep David in my prayers.

Hugs, JB

Sometimes it is best to give in to what your body is telling you. We are looking forward to next weekend too.

Glad that David is doing well, he just needs to pace himself more! As for the delicious colour of your chair, it's such a bright, happy colour!
