Magazines......

I would like to thank you all for your wonderful wishes to my sweet Ashley.
I have told you before I have an obsession with magazines so much so when I get offers in the mail for a free issue I take them up on it.
Case in point Hobby Farm Home, I though well I could see what it's like.
Do you see those donuts on the front??? I love donuts! I try to not eat donuts but after a few weeks I have to have one. I am talking good donuts not dry D.D. I am talking small shop hand made mmmmmm
I may try making donuts, oh Hobby Farm you had me at donuts.
I would recommend MaryJanes Farm I love this magazine and is one of the two subscriptions I pay for.
I pick up old magazines off the rack at the dump. I am sure I have seen this before(2001) but it is holiday appropriate so I took it. There is an article on the the health benefits of apple cider vinegar.
For longevity: combing one tsp apple cider vinegar with one tsp honey in a full glass of water and drink a half hour before meals. Also said to be excellent for aiding digestion, easing arthritis, and boosting memory. might it be worth a try?
And of course the one magazine that hangs around the longest is the old farmers almanac. It hangs in the bathroom right in reach:) I have the new one waiting to go up.

The first day of fall is next Friday boo hoo and they are calling for a frost in our area by this Friday. While I like the cool crisp air I am not ready for frost or shall I say the "S" word?
I am off to the eye Dr tomorrow I think I will be wearing glasses all the time I can't see a thing:(

The apple cider vinegar has to be organic with something called the MOTHER in it to have all the health benefits it states. Good luck at the eye doctors.

Please. NO! Not the "F" word. What has happened to September?

I love magazines and keep all of my old Country Home and Country Living mags. I've tried that vinegar and honey concoction before. I think it used to be called switchel which was given to hay makers to quench their thirst. It's actually pretty good, especially with ice in it. My MIL swears by it! I'm ready for cooler weather, but not frost, and definitely not snow!
Hugs!

Wow, you get frost early, must be up north! You must get lots of snow oops "S" too. But that's okay, you have your Farmer's Almanac at the ready :) and all the other awesome magazines (items from the dump are my very favorite items, can't believe yours has a spot to put old magazines, love it!). Thanks for sharing.

I love Hobby Farm Home. I've given it as a gift to my FIL in the past.
And I use to have a subscription to MJ before I swore off magazines.
Once in a while I buy one off the newstand.
I'd like to try that drink!
Hope your eye appt. goes well.

I LOVE my Hobby Farm Home subscription! I'm debating making those donuts - they look so scrumptious. I'll have to check out Mary Jane's!
