Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's day to you all! I hope the luck of the Irish follows you all the day.
I think some leprechaun was playing a joke today. we got about 4 inches of wet, heavy, slippery snow. My ride to work was interesting. Tomorrow 50's well that is New England for you. Spring this Sunday and still I can not see my lawn, not even a tiny patch. All those tulips and daffodils are just waiting to grow. I couldn't wait so I bought a little bunch to hold me over.
This is a boring post not much to report. No hooking has been done and not much at the dump or thrifting. So I will close with a quote that speaks to me..... Some luck lies in not getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known..... Garrison Keillor :0)

Excellent quote. Just look at your cheery daffodils and not out the window until that white crap melts.

When we get a snowfall in Newfoundland around St. Patrick's day, we call it Sheila's Brush. Sheila was Paddy's wife and folklore has it that Sheils'a Brush is her sweeping out the last vestiges of winter to get ready for the spring, lol. With the warmer temperatures it shouldn't last too long. Think happy thoughts. My crocus and daffodils are peeping out.
A Happy St. Paddy's Day to you.
