A 12 Step Program

Oh spring where are you? I miss you so. It has been in the 30's and wind  howling through the trees for days. It is cold and miserable. We have had snow flurries then sunshine. So I wonder were is the global warming and when will it get to New Hampshire?  This is a forsythia that I am forcing inside I am sure it will be the only time it blooms this spring.  Oh and a little up date. Sadie got the mouse!!!! yeah Sadie!!!
The only thing I got at the thrift store was this cutie.  it will look so cute on my porch. (if I ever get out there) and for 5.00 it was a keeper.
The dump gods have been good to me lately. I got this sweet cupboard, I plan on painting it and selling it. My husband has joined a furniture co-op so he is looking to rehab some furniture and make a little pocket money.
And this table was made in Vermont and is HEAVY it is rock maple I think. It had a note on it to call the person who dumped it he has 2 leaves but he has to find them. So I did and he will be looking for the leaves in the next few days. I am thinking paint.
And I got to see Miss Baby. Does she not get cuter by the day??? (says her grammie:) She is holding tight to Pepe. She is 3 months old. where does the time go? Her eyes are a dark navy blue she will have her mom's blue eyes. I must confess something when I see her I have to hold her and kiss her and snuggle. which doesn't leave much time for Pepe which is causing a bit of a problem. I say how can I share her? So I am joining a 12 step program for people overboard for their Miss Baby's wish me luck!

I do believe I may just have to packup and move to New Hampshire, your finds are unbelievable! Love the table and the former owner is willing to search for the leaves? only in New England. I am going to join you and cut some Forsythia, my tulip indulgance is becoming expensive, I mean what is a girl to do? Just where is spring, certainly not in my neck of the woods. BTW, Miss Baby is just beautiful give her a "squish" for me.

That has got to be the cutest picture i've ever seen :) I can see how Pepe gets mad, Gramie steals Miss Baby away every chance she gets! It was good to see you guys today.

You continue to hit pay dirt at the dump. It's amazing what people trow away but it makes you happy every time.

What a cutie. I know, it's hard to believe that she already 3 months old. I think that the earth is spinning out of control and the time is just zipping by. My grandson was 2 months old last week.

Have a great week and thanks for your comment on my blog. JB

Oh, your grandbaby is the absolute cutest!! Poor Grampy...he'll just have to wait his turn! Super great dump finds! I went out today antiquing with a friend and was determined to wear a spring coat...ok, so I put a wool sweater under it...but I still froze. Enough winter!!

Love it! Dump gods! They have been good to me too and my husband is wondering what virus I have. I say it's the"Need to rehab old furniture virus" and I'm not sure if there is a cure. Great finds and do you think we should hang up the lights again and sing Christmas carols? Ugh! This weather!

Your dump is amazing. That table is great. Miss Baby is getting cuter every day. I don't blame you for hogging all the cuddles. How could you resist her?
